NY Landscape and Property Management around Lake George/Adirondack Region

March 25, 2012

Spring has Arrived Early in Lake George

It has been a very mild winter this year in the Northeast and the Adirondacks. Very little snow and warm temperatures prevented the ground from freezing. 2012 was another year where Lake George did not freeze over.

Unseasonably warm temperatures in the 60 to 70 degree range over the last two weeks has many of the spring flowers ready to bloom. If your property isn’t blooming like your neighbors, give us a call. It takes proper planning the year before to make those spring flowers bloom.

It is starting to look like spring and summer without the summertime traffic. Very little boat traffic, other than a few Hacker Crafts being taken out for their 1st spring voyages on the crystal-clear, calm waters of Lake George.

We are looking forward to another Great Summer. We will be attending the LGA’s Lake-Friendly Showcase and a few other seminars in the area this summer. Soon you’ll be seeing our trucks around the Lake George basin. We welcome you back to the Lake. Please stop by and say Hi and let us show you where our expertise and consulting experience in site development and stormwater management can take your property to another level.

Give DeFranco Landscaping a call if you are thinking about building a new home or constructing an addition on your lake house to discuss what you will be required to do for your property’s stormwater managment / run-off requirements. We consult with Anthony DeFranco, PE-Consulting Engineering to provide proper site design and stormwater management practices and provide landscape planting plans with native plants for shoreline buffers and rain gardens.
